4th Installment of the Extempore Speech on:

Islam: The Covenants Fulfilled

The Raja Zarith Sofiah Centre for Advanced Studies on Islam, Science and Civilisation together with Ta'dib Foundation is honoured to host once more the esteemed Royal Laureate Professor Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, for an extempore scholarly discourse on Islam, in which he will elucidate the principal arguments of his latest monograph, Islam: The Covenants Fulfilled.

Following his earlier lecture—where he distinguished between millah (cultural belief-systems) and dīn (the divinely revealed religion), affirmed Islam as dīn al-ḥaqq and addressed the encroachment of secularism on spiritual realities—Professor al-Attas returns to deepen our understanding of the primordial covenants between God and humanity.

Islam:

The Covenants Fulfilled

Discussing the authoritative proofs that Islam is the only universal religion that fulfills our individual covenant with Allah while in this world through the example shown by His Messenger ﷺ for us to achieve the ultimate happiness here and the hereafter.
